EXCLUSIVE: NAPAPIJRI X MORENO FERRARI

Design, art, and sustainability interlace seamlessly in the Napapijri x Moreno Ferrari capsule collection, born from the collaboration between the iconic outerwear brand and renowned Italian designer and artist Moreno Ferrari. The project launches today exclusively at Antonia Milano, framed by a high-impact dedicated window display. The concept culls from Ferrari’s “NO” project installation created by the artist in 2018 when he revisited Napapijri’s iconic Skidoo jacket: transformed into an armor constructed with urban materials, he turned it into a piece of art. The desire to develop projects with this philosophy brings to life the Circular Capsule Collection with its ethical approach toward the environment. The capsule features a series of edgy, ecological, and fully recyclable urban looks, including the Northfarer jackets, hoodies, T-shirts, and sweatshirts, that incorporate elements borrowed from the urban landscape, such as bubble wrap and plastic safety nets, highlighting the need to re-use and recycle as much as possible. In that light, the main 100% recyclable fabric is Econyl® regenerated nylon: an innovative fiber derived from nylon waste – including fishing nets, old carpets, and industrial waste ­– boasting the same qualities as brand-new nylon but which, unlike traditional nylon, can be recycled infinitely. The capsule will also be on display at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery in Milan from June 7 during Design Week.
