LUCA GUADAGNINO SHOOTS THE FENDI PEEKABOO

An exclusive luxurious bag certainly makes one feel empowered, confident, and independent, or in the case of the new Fendi Peekaboo bag ad campaign, a Super Hero. Lensed by Italian director Luca Guadagnino, the imaginative mini film dedicated to the latest iterations of the iconic bag, stars British fashion model, actress and activist Adwoa Aboah. Over the honey-hued rooftops of Rome, Aboah incarnates a modern, glamorous superwoman who floats in the air, energized by her lightweight Peekaboo in different hues and sizes, to land on the steps of Fendi’s Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana headquarters. Overall, the campaign captures the Roman’s luxury-goods house’s hallmark sense of humor, female power, creative whimsy and exquisite artisanship with refined and light-hearted glamour.
