Best known for its modernist wardrobe staples, London-based brand Studio Nicholson is the brainchild of Nick Wakeman, who launched her solo project in 2010 with two decades of fashion experience under her belt. The designer, who honed her skills studying Textile Design at Chelsea School of Art in London, is set on using only the noblest fabrics and materials, working closely with high-end manufacturers in Italy, Portugal, Japan, and the UK. Her design ethos draws inspiration from Japanese culture, architecture, and interiors, revealing considered pieces that are carefully engineered to provide structure and elegance, serving as the building blocks for the ultimate modular wardrobe. Season in, season out, functionality, modernity, and playfulness are the founding pillars of each collection.
