BALENCIAGA FALL 2022 CAMPAIGN

Starring Bella Hadid, the Balenciaga Fall 2022 ad campaign sets off still and video images inspired by yesterday for today. Photographed by British artist Nadia Lee Cohen, the first installment of the multi-series campaign reveals Hadid with singer Aya Nakamura and models Kit Butler, Zuo Chen, Abdou Diop, Inti Wang, and Lina Zhang. Shot on a white seamless backdrop, their poses reference the provocative nature of early Nineties advertising. As the models tenderly embrace one another while a flashbulb goes off, the imagery highlights an array of hero pieces: robe coats, shrunken tops, distressed trenches, deconstructed slip dresses, and extra tight or extra baggy separates. All topped by a spate of must-have bags including the recently-introduced Lindsey, Crush, and Crocs Bag, plus refreshed versions of the XX Hourglass, the Everyday Tote, and Le Cagole.
