IN THE SPOTLIGHT: KOLOR MEN’S NEW ARRIVALS

Traditionally, Kolor designer Junichi Abe likes to experiment, turning basics on their heads through color and the manipulation of crafting techniques. The result is that unexpected touch that transforms a car coat, a sweater, or a T-shirt from plain to edgy, often via asymmetry. Cases in point for Fall 2022 are a hounds-tooth coat with asymmetrical buttoning and collar, a sweater with an uneven V-neck, or a windbreaker constructed with lopsided layers, all complemented by a spate of everyday Tees with blurry or distorted logo graphics. Abe’s visual language reimagines the familiar with unfamiliar inventiveness creating pieces that will make you stand out from the pack.
