THE NORTH FACE XX KAWS: THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX

The second The North Face XX Kaws collection is hinged on the disruptiveness of iconic styles from The North Face Expedition System line, designed for extreme-weather explorations from the Himalayas to Antarctica. Highlighting the theme of perception and visibility, legendary Brooklyn-based artist Kaws revisits key Expedition System pieces with his signature abstract patterns, tonal colors, new textures and typical XX motif. Launched in 1990, the Expedition System was the most technically advanced integrated clothing system, unrelentingly tested by some of the world’s most accomplished athletes.
