And what a spectacle it was! Celebrating its 70^th anniversary, Moncler blanketed Milan’s iconic Piazza Duomo during Milan Fashion Week with an unprecedented event open to the public. Virna Toppi, the prima ballerina of the storied Teatro La Scala, opened the performance featuring 1,952 dancers, a number that represented Moncler’s founding year. All the artists wore the iconic Moncler Maya 70 Jacket in white. Indeed, at the center of this historical milestone, Moncler celebrates its signature Moncler Maya 70 Jacket with a limited-edition redesign featuring a commemorative logo—an infinity symbol wrapping the iconic mountain cockerel with the number 70—and new colorways. The 13 special-edition hues run the gamut from metallic platinum to fresh pastels, from vivid tones to earthy neutrals, all inspired by the outdoors. Except for the platinum version, each one is crafted in Moncler’s new washed nylon luxe laqué: a lightweight, technical nylon, with a lustrous sheen and ultramodern laminated texture.
