Bottega Veneta Wardrobe 03 officially marks the last collection designed by Daniel Lee, whose sudden and unexpected departure last November raised many questions since his tenure was a blockbuster success.; Wardrobe 03 obviously reflects all of Lee's codes, signatures and ability to balance legacy and modernity. In his typical ode to contrasts, different textures gel effortlessly just like his subversive play on roomy-slim silhouettes. The designer's hallmark brilliant green shade washes over the accessories and clothes, outlandish and intricate embellishments ooze a contemporary glamour while his uber-cool squared sandals and voluminous bags add the finishing touches. As Matthieu Blazy, the new creative director of Bottega Veneta, is busy at work on his debut collection, we can't wait to discover his vision for the brand.
