VAULT BY VANS X GALLERY DEPT. UNVEIL: REBELLIOUS TWIST
With skate style in mind, Gallery Dept. founder, Josué Thomas, mined the Vans archive to reimagine the Rowley XLT, first introduced by long-time Vans team skater Geoff Rowley in 2001. Today’s revamped design showcases inventive and unexpected colorways and materials.
Josué Thomas contends that "the Rowley XLT defines itself as a new classic for today, with a tested 20 years in the books, as trends shift back to the skate culture of the ‘90s. Not only does the Rowley XLT LX complement the spirit of Gallery Dept., but it also captures an era we believe will always be timeless."
Defined by looser fits, puffy tongue, and bulky ankle collar, Vault by Vans x Gallery Dept. Rowley XLT LX is a retro-inspired style with a rebellious twist rendered in five unique colorways, featuring bold designs like wild animal prints, tonal clashes, and all-over color blocking.
