Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster present their new eyewear collaboration, the third chapter in a creative dialogue between classicism and innovation.
Featuring twenty models, including both eyewear and sunglasses, the collection explores the intersection of craftsmanship and digital innovation, presented in a cyber-core aesthetic design.
Ranging from reinterpretations of iconic shapes (sharp cat-eyes, oval frames with robotic twists) to more experimental offerings, such as ultra-light glasses with cable temples or frameless designs held together by gold and silver links.
Accompanying the new collaboration is a campaign photographed and directed by Jordan Hemingway, reflecting on the ambiguous attraction between man and cyborg, while highlighting the dialogue between craftsmanship and innovation.
