6 MONCLER NOIR KEI NINOMIYA

Rigorously shrouded in black, the 6 Moncler Noir Kei Ninomiya collection adds a new dimension to repetition, modularity and geometric abstraction. The challenge was to create complex yet easy-to-wear constructions, which the designer met successfully with his line-up of blousons, skirts, dresses, parkas and sweaters made with multiple small modules, patched together by miniature metal rings. A cool, industrial-looking effect made possible by a sophisticated, couture-like virtuosity. Besides the trail-blazing techniques, it’s the details that flair - petals blossom on shrunken bombers and long gilets, garlands and studded flowers bring a punkish streak, while chains add a dramatic gleam to an all-black palette.
