A DIFFERENT VOICE: PARIA FARZANEH

The latest turmoils in the U.S, the raging fires that swept across the West Coast, police and militia brutality and the pandemic, all chaotic events that some of Paria Farzaneh’s collaborators witnessed first-hand, deeply impacted her collection. Driven by sustainable creativity, interlaced to the current events, and eager to push change, the designer opted for military influences, underscored by a waterproof camouflage fabric used by the Italian army. Field jackets, multi-pocket vests and cargo pants enhance the overall mood of defiance. As a community, Paria Farzaneh has always believed in its world and its people. While it cannot force others to change their mindsets and their beliefs, the London-based designer believes that she can plant the seed for a new perspective.
