NEW JEWELRY BRAND: SORDO

Sordo’s unique jewelry creations blend elements of design, artisanship, and culture. Founded by Monica Sordo in 2012, it was inspired by her return to Caracas, and after moving to New York, the brand evolved into a lifestyle project with a worldly sensibility. Bridging different forms and techniques, the jewelry is shaped by innovation, experimentation, soul, and precision. Each piece evokes memories of the Caribbean and is influenced by the modern, Latin American minimalist aesthetic. Her study of voluminous shapes, organic textures, and dynamic proportions is evident in all her jewelry pieces considered sculptural objects of desire. The pursuit of permanence in design and a commitment to creating timeless pieces that transcend time, is the common thread throughout Sordo's creative projects.
