A NEW GREEN DIGITAL PROJECT FOR VALENTINO

From me to us: from the atelier where dreams are created to the streets where they come to life. Valentino’s new project Creating Shared Value,; a new conscious-driven area of its website, adds another tassel to the house’s sustainability agenda. In this newly-created section, aficionados will be able to dip into the stories behind the house’s daily operations, increasingly committed to a greener transition through dedicated projects in the social and environmental fields. A constantly updated window in which the user is invited to immerse themselves in an interactive universe, recounted in three sections: People, Planet, and Product. The eye behind the camera is that of Ainslie Henderson, founder of the Amphibian Husbandry studio. The Edinburgh-born artist received a BAFTA in 2012 for The Making of Longbird and has created different animated shorts and music videos, including James' Moving On, which reached 1.9 million views on Vimeo. Sustainability is a key pillar for the future at Valentino. Most recently, the Maison introduced two sneakers, the Open and the Rockstud Untitled, made from recycled and bio-based materials. The shoe boxes and the packaging are made of fully recycled cotton and paper, sourced from sustainably managed forests.
