BOTTEGA VENETA BLANKETS THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

As the Chinese New Year enters the Year of the Tiger, Bottega Veneta has staged a celebratory takeover on the Great Wall of China with Happy New Year spelled out in Chinese. Flanked by the company’s logo, the words on the giant digital screen are tinged in the brand’s signature brilliant green and tangerine, an emblem of good luck in Chinese culture. For the occasion, Bottega Veneta has added a subtle tiger pattern to its Cassette intrecciato bag as part of its Chinese New Year capsule. Besides the installation, the Italian brand has also made a donation to support the renovation and maintenance of the “Shanhai Pass,” the starting point on the most eastern end of the Great Wall.
