We’re kicking off the new year with a bang thanks to the Valentino Garavani Toile Iconographe capsule of bags created exclusively for Antonia Sant’ Andrea, our second store in Milan, and available online. Introduced for Spring/Summer 2023 as part of Valentino’s Unboxing Collection and later with the Surfaces Spring 2023 Collection, Toile Iconographe is a jacquard motif on canvas that “resignifies” the iconic VLogo under a new light, appearing as a rippling all-over pattern on RTW, Valentino Garavani bags, shoes and small leathergoods. The VLogo has a deep meaning for Maison Valentino: it is alive, it breathes, it slides, slowly, across the surface. The logo is space and architecture. The logo is beauty and culture. Created for us, five dedicated Valentino Garavani Toile Iconographe bags - Valentino Garavani Le Grand Le Deuxième and Valentino Garavani Le Petit Deuxième shoulder bags, Valentino Garavani Le Troisième tote in two sizes, and Valentino Garavani Le Cinquième bucket bag - in an exclusive colorway: tone-on-tone ivory. The Maison also launched a powerful and timeless Toile Iconographe campaign, lensed by Steven Meisel and starring supermodel Kristen McMenamy, shot against a white background to better highlight the hypnotic effect of this unique graphic motif.
