Moncler Genius has unveiled its latest collection, designed by Jay-Z in collaboration with Roc Nation.
With its Genius platform, Moncler extends co-creation beyond fashion and into art, design, entertainment, music, sports, and culture. The Moncler x Roc Nation collection by Jay-Z represents boundless creativity, combining shared experiences and ambitions to create a collection that embodies the idea that genius can be found anywhere.
The collection is conceived as modular elements that build up to create a cohesive track, similar to record samples. The focus is great standalone pieces that can be layered harmoniously in a tight palette of white, khaki, black, and bright orange.
Classic Moncler shapes are remixed with a New York City swagger to unveil new styles, such as a puffer jacket in embossed croc print with a waterproof tech pocket on the sleeve. Some pieces are reversible, encouraging freedom and playfulness, while the exclusive considered details include a new hand-embroidered mountain logo and a standout crystal-embellished ‘It’s not rocket science’ graphic on the back of a jacket.
