Amsterdam-based store Maha and Vault by Vans unveil their first collaboration, starring the all-time favorite OG Style 36 LX silhouette. Reimagined in a vibrant yellow and white checkerboard print, the color scheme is inspired by the orange Tompouce pastry, a Dutch delicacy usually only available during the month of April when the country celebrates their King and Queen. Saskia;von;Hofwegen;and Dian;Iskandar, the couple behind the fashion-forward store that specializes in uber cool streetwear for men and women, preserved Vans’ heritage with the iconic checks that pepper both the upper and the sidewalls. Made from canvas with hints of supple suede across the upper, the sneaker features a signature vulcanized waffle outsole and orange heel plate, plus co-branded details on the footbed cushioning and embroidered on the tongue.
