IN THE SPOTLIGHT: SACAI SS 2022

Sacai’s Chitose Abe played with transformation for spring, blending elegance and functionality into great standalone “hybrid” separates in unexpected fabric combinations for both men and women. The designer’s imaginative and skillful tailoring knack offered new, not-so-ordinary iterations of wearable basics via contrasting elements, detachable parts, edgy cuts and quirky splices. Throughout, Abe opted for plenty of camel tones, olive greens and black, flanked by buffalo plaids, paisley patterns, bandana prints, and floral embroideries.; Sacai has certainly led us to expect the unexpected from this uber cool brand, which is just what we love.;;
