The Attico’s Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio are ready to entertain their fans with a collection that is seemingly opposed to their more grounded early fall outing. The pendulum has swung here, pushed by an aspect that the duo truly enjoys about fashion: the connection with their feelings that ultimately brings change, multiplicity, and about-turns. So for winter, they headed in a new direction: towards a trippy, nighttime folie kind of escapism, whilst retaining the duality underscored by their typical mix of the unabashedly feminine and the tomboy-ish, the glitzy and the grungy. Bold colors and graphic animal prints capture the spirit of the season. The chromatic juxtapositions accentuate the sensual geometry of the cuts with precision tailoring sculpted around the body, elevated by oversized, curvaceous sleeves. Slashes and diagonal openings reveal glimpses of skin on tops and dresses, Dresses are form-fitting or brim with a flapper girl’s perkiness, counterbalanced by cargo pants, shirts, and oversized cardigans.
