Virgil Abloh's legacy lives on with the Air Force 1 Mid x Off-White. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the AF1, the iconic silhouette has been reimagined through a futuristic lens while paying homage to its origins. The White and Varsity Maize colorway, in fact, nods to the community along the I-95 corridor that helped make the AF1 the juggernaut it is today. The airbrush-inspired branding adds traction to the retro theme, evoking the early-aughts style. In typical Virgil Abloh style, the late designer has left room for others to be creative with the design, which features traditional laces as well as a second set that loops through Flywire cables. The result? A referential meditation on one of the most revered shoes in modern history.
