Loewe takes over one of our corners in via Sant'Andrea 10;with the SS 2023 Runway collection. We are one of the stores to carry the brand's sensational catwalk lineup, launched on Feb. 23. Sharpened, stripped down, forward-thinking: Jonathan Anderson’s focus was the anthurium flower, a product of nature that looks like an object of design, and treated as such. Blooming from there, the designer opted for a few key silhouettes which he manipulated exquisitely by redesigning, reducing, tightening: snug polo shirts flare out into mini baby-doll dresses; engineered panniers are compact and neat, hunting jackets and shearling bombers are reduced to miniatures; T-shirts, shirts and chinos are twisted, padded, elongated and reproportioned. Overall, a blunt design statement, amplified through the act of reduction.
