The first collaborative effort between multi-talented star Zendaya and iconic American designer Tommy Hilfiger was officially unveiled in Paris with a high-wattage runway extravaganza for 1,000 guests, staged at the Art Deco-style Théâtre des Champs-Élysées on Avenue Montaigne. Now exclusively in store as part of Hilfiger’s see-now-buy-now program, the collection is a celebration of strong, iconic women of the Seventies American pop culture and the period’s signature groovy styles that pushed Hilfiger to open his first store, People’s Place. Besides carrying the collection, Antonia celebrates this special bond by dedicating all the store windows to the project with orange egg-shaped cut-outs plastered on the windows, spotlighting the key looks styled by Antonia. Confident, sexy and glamourous, the line-up focuses on figure-flattering tailoring with structured silhouettes including flared pants or high-waisted jean and sharp suits in solids, stripes or checks, mostly in a rich palette of cream, navy and burgundy. Also of note are the belted midi-skirts in denim or leather worn with multicolored Lurex striped sweaters, Tees featuring “Z” and “T” embroideries and silk shirts adorned with zodiac-inspired prints. The perfect fusion between Zendaya’s edgy sense of style with the brand’s classic American cool DNA.
