These runners, and the running world in general, inspired the collection, a tribute to the unwavering;confidence displayed by such athletes, who embrace the;power of self-beliefas they constantly push themselves;to beat world records. Where races are won by one one-hundredth of a second.; The “Athlete in Progress” collection, for which Abloh mined Nike’s rich heritage in track and;field, consists of an assortment that balances performance and post-run apparel and footwear,namely the;Nike x Off-White Zoom Terra Kiger 5, inspired by Nike’s storied running shoe designs. "I started talking with Nike about this women’s running project last summer and at the time, I was very much inspired by the aesthetic and style;of track and field athletes.
